- The need to eat healthy met my obsession with pastries, and my love of baking was born. Six pies per holiday is a standard in my house -- all made gluten free, dairy free, and sweetened with dates, honey, agave, or maple.

-I knew my career would be dedicated to empowering women in 2017. What I hadn't anticipated was following my long-standing dream of becoming a published author. Enter, my first spicy romance book, and the rest is history.
I'm now a spicy contemporary and fantasy romance author, with seven books published across three series. One epic romantic fantasy series called Grayshell Rising, and two connected contemporary series, Nomadic Rhodes, and The Hearts Of Emerald Bay.

I fell in love with the power of the lens at age 12... And then my mom - my own Lorelai Gilmore - got sick when I was fresh out of high school. She fought for two and a half brutal years, but unfortunately passed away when I was twenty.
I have no professional portraits of my mom. None. (I mean, not unless you count family photos at JC Penny).
Women are so busy taking care of everyone and everything else, it's too easy to scoot behind the camera and hide. But every woman deserves to exist in portraits. Every loved one deserves something beautiful to cherish.

We begin all of our boudoir sessions at 11AM in-studio in Meridian or Caldwell, ID. Sessions are available Monday-Friday! Limited Saturday sessions are available with a Bombshell Booking Collection.

Once your sitting fee has been paid, you'll get an email that will include our contract, boudoir prep guide, and client questionnaire, so we can design the perfect session!
We’ve created our prep guide for our clients to help you get the most out of your photos, have all your questions answered, and feel more than ready and prepared for your session.
We’ll take care of the rest! Your only job is to be yourself, laugh a lot and let us create photos you’ll love forever!
prepping for your shoot
Make sure to eat breakfast/lunch before you head to the studio - nobody has fun if they're hangry!
Our glam squad will pamper you, and make you feel like a million bucks! There's nothing quite like professional hair and makeup styling to make you feel amazing!
We shoot for about 60-90 minutes after hair and makeup!
Eat a light meal before the session, and pack a snack for after - you'll thank me later!
your session day
Sydne will select your top 40-60 images, and perform a very light retouch. About 1-2 weeks later, we'll hop online via google hangout to view your gorgeous images, and select your favorites for your collection! Sydne will walk you through EVERYTHING, from which album you want, to the images that go in it, and what will look best on your wall!
Products will arrive 6-8 weeks later, and we can even install your wall art for you!

WHAT'S YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
We love creating gorgeous, warm images full of life, and dramatic, film inspired black and whites! Most of your session will be carefully directed in order to create images that look natural, while still shooting in a way that feels flattering. We love creating movement, so expect some dancing!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We provide an in depth digital prep guide when you book that answers all the questions you could possibly have about styling your session!
In a nutshell - don't worry about it too much! Seriously. We can do a LOT with a white sheet, or simple bra and panty set. When it comes to boudoir, being confident and comfortable is 90% of the job!
If you want to dress it up and get some steamy lingerie, complete with garter and heels, TOTALLY rock that! But, if you're more of a loose sweater and cheeky undies kinda gal, we'll totally use that to our advantage.
The camera loves texture! Lace, or sheer fabric like a scarf, wrap, or button up make for gorgeous images!
Most of our clients opt for an extended session with up to 6 outfits, so start thinking now about what kind of looks you feel sexy in! Remember, some classy fine art nudes count as an outfit too, so there's one less thing to shop for ;)
The best accessory is confidence! So just make sure whatever you bring makes you feel radiant, and fits properly (which, lets face it, is 1/2 the key of confidence)!

Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO YOU OFFER?
The studio specializes in empowering women in all forms, so we focus on beauty, boudoir, and personal branding.
HOW LONG WILL MY SHOOT BE?
On average, sessions take around 3-4 hours from wardrobe review through hair and makeup, and the session itself.
WHEN/HOW WILL I SEE MY PHOTOS?
One to two weeks after your session, we'll hop online for a virtual viewing via Google Hangout, and I'll guide you through selecting your final images.
WILL WE PLAN THE LOOK OF THE SHOOT TOGETHER?
Yes! Your session will be custom designed based on your goals for your collection, and your session mood board. We plan to shoot on 2-3 'sets'.
WHAT PRINTED PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER?
We specialize in heirloom quality wall art and albums! My goal is for all of my clients to have a beautiful collection of keepsakes and digital images to cherish forever. Our most popular items are luxury albums with acrylic covers, acrylic and canvas wall art, and a bedside passepartout.
CAN MY PRODUCTS BE SHIPPED TO ME?
Yes! Domestic shipping is included in your collection pricing. Due to new regulations, we can no longer ship to the EU.

WILL YOU BE PUBLISHING MY PHOTOS ONLINE?
This is *entirely* up to you! We love sharing our client's images, but discretion is the name of the game. You have complete control over whether your images are for your eyes only, or if we share images, which images we can/can't use!
WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME ON PRINTED PRODUCTS?
Albums and wall art take about 6-8 weeks to produce after your collection has been paid in full. We recommend booking your session date at least two months before you need your products in hand.
CAN I REQUEST CERTAIN EDITING TECHNIQUES?
Our studio style is very specific, and we don't condone extreme alterations, but specialized retouching (remove tan lines, airbrushing etc) is available for an additional fee.
CAN I PRINT THE PHOTOS MYSELF?
We specialize in creating high-quality, archival, true to color prints through professional, discreet labs. For the sake of our clients' privacy, we do not encourage printing through a kiosk that lacks the control and anonymity of our lab. If you want additional desk prints after you receive your collection, you may order directly through your gallery.
CAN I POST MY PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Absolutely! If you're particularly thrilled and feel like yelling from the rooftops about how beautiful you feel, we would love a tag (but it's not required)!
HOW MUCH DOES A PHOTO SESSION COST?
Investment varies from client to client, as we custom design your dream collection of albums, wall art and digital images.
There are two options to book: Option one; reserve your spot with a $699 sitting fee, and then select your collection at your viewing appointment at full price.
Option two (most popular); skip the sitting fee (save $699), and enjoy a generous discount (up to 13%) when you pre-purchase your collection! Half is due to reserve your date, and half is due by the session date.
Pre-purchase payment plans are available.
On average, our clients invest between $3k-$5k on their collection. Want more details? Check out our booking collections HERE.
CAN I UPGRADE MY PACKAGE?
Yes! If you pre-purchase a collection, and opt to upgrade at your viewing, we can adjust it then! Once products are in production, add-ons will still be available as well.
WHY DON’T YOU RELEASE ALL OF THE PHOTOS YOU TAKE?
We make it a professional practice to not give away any raw or unedited images taken during our sessions and events. Ultimately, we do it as a service for our clients to save you time!
We're professional curators, and we review thousands upon thousands of images every year, select the best, most flattering portraits that meet a professional standard, and make sure our clients get to see all the best ones without the hassle of choosing between very minute differences.
We cull through so many sessions and events every year that we're very efficient at what we do, and are happy to (humbly) report that we can do it in a fraction of the time most people can!
We show you only the best images, so it's easy to pick the perfect pieces for your custom collections!
DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?
Yes! We professionally retouch all of our sessions! Authenticity is huge to us as we want to capture images that are true to you, so our retouching is light for most sessions.
We're happy to retouch temporary features, like acne, bruises, scratches etc. We don't perform extensive retouching that alters the way our clients look. It's our philosophy that if it's permanent, or authentic to the moment, we don't alter it! That means no warping or changing bodies either.
Additional retouching is available upon request, for an additional fee.
WILL HAIR AND MAKEUP SERVICES BE PROVIDED FOR MY SESSION?
Yes! Our sessions include professional 'natural' hair and makeup application. More complicated styling is available for an additional fee and session extension.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You wardrobe and accessories! We take care of the rest. Just remember to pair any jewelry and shoes so we know what you have in mind!
SHOULD I BRING PROPS?
Sydne does *not* encourage bringing 'props' as they're generally hard to style in line with the studio esthetic. No firearms or live animals may be incorporated into your sessions to prevent liability issues with insurance and the building. Feel free to incorporate heirlooms and styling elements into your wardrobe - think sentimental jewelry or head pieces, robes, or gowns.
